While cleaning up our Christmas lawn decorations, Pills and I discovered that one of the nesting boxes in our yard already has an egg inside it! We've seen bluebirds fluttering back and forth but had thought that they were just scoping out potential nests for the upcoming season.
I took the opportunity to paint the scene inside and use it as a great exercise in using contrasting colors to great effect. I hope you all like it!
